Annual Fund 2010-2011

Bishop García Diego High School continues to offer a personal and values-based Catholic education. When we look back at our own lives, we will most likely discover that our values and ethics were formed early on and are a reflection of our families and friends, of the schools we attended, and our closest role models. While academic achievement is at the core of our work at Bishop High we place equal importance on public service and giving back to our community.

We are proud of our accomplished students and remember the school's need for ongoing financial support to maintain and advance the excellent work being done here. Every year the Annual Fund represents a critical part of the school's budget and helps to cover the operating deficit per student - that is, the difference between tuition and what it actually costs to run the school on a per student basis. Unlike public schools which are funded by tax dollars, independent non-profit schools like Bishop, rely solely upon tuition and annual fundraising to meet operating expenses. For this reason, we rely on the generosity of our parents to help us each year.

You are an important part of our community, and your support of Bishop High makes a difference in the life of our school.
